The 12th annual Southern Grampians “Promenade of Sacred Music” reached its climax on Sunday afternoon at St Michael’s Lutheran Church, Tarrington with “Gloria” a collaboration from professional and local performers which included music from Organ, Brass, Strings, Choirs, a stunning and spiritually moving performance. Yet this is not to say that the rest of the weekend wasn’t on par.
From Thursday to Sunday afternoon the public were treated to performances near and far, from Hamilton, Tarrington to Coleraine.

Coming back from a photo shoot early this afternoon I took note of the stormy sky’s that have been brewing all morning. On decided to capture the cloud formations I took back road to gain a little elevation, in doing so I discovered this line of trees running along the top of the hill.
With the location set, it was just a matter of capturing the 5 separate images to create the much larger panoramic image.

With all the burning off that has been going on around the district, there was no way that Tuesday nights sunset was going to be anything other than a stunner; and I wasn’t let down.
This particular image is a crop from a much larger panoramic image that comprised of a total of 5 images stitched together.
As its’ from a commissioned series of prints I’ve been working on for many moons now (many) I’m not going to reveal the image as a whole, not yet anyway. Till then.
